Author, artist and teacher J. Ruth Gendler presents an experiential workshop - this is for everyone, those who love to write and those who would rather be dancing.
WHEN: Saturday, May 6th @ 4pm
WHERE: San Diego Performing Arts Center (4579 Mission Gorge Place, San Diego, CA, 92120)
In this experiential workshop, J. Ruth Gendler, author of the bestselling The Book of Qualities will share her approach to the creative process and offer participants new ways to write.
Let’s explore how you travel across the page of language.
Can your words leap, march, pause, meander, wonder?
Can you experience that writing, like dance and music, is both work and play?
Our tools include making lists, asking questions, listening to language, and identifying the Qualities that motivate and fascinate us.
No worries, this workshop is for everyone—those who love to write and those who would rather be dancing.
Author, artist and teacher J. Ruth Gendler is committed to the importance of the arts in daily life..
